Jessica here. Welcome to the Southern Sugaring blog! We have SO many exciting things happening at Southern Sugaring lately that I just HAD to fill you in on what’s been going on! Oh, and I promise to post here often so you never get behind!
New Location Alert
To begin...WE MOVED! On February 1, we officially opened our doors at 9401 Middleground Road next to Chatham Eye Associates. Southern Sugaring simply outgrew the space and parking at the Abercorn location, and the new salon is a DREAM with over 4,000 square feet, ample parking, and spacious treatment rooms! The renovations began in October 2020, and I love how our retro-futurism concept turned out. Check out how fabulous our new digs are @southernsugaring or stop by to see for yourself!
Media Coverage
Of course, we sent out a press release about the new Middleground Road location, and the feedback from the community has been incredible. In Savannah alone, Southern Sugaring got media coverage from Savannah CEO, Savannah Master Calendar, Open for Business, and Southern Bon Vivant. Not to mention the spa industry coverage from Spa Industry Association, Skin Inc., and Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Spa. I have been blown away by the excitement and support we’ve received the past several weeks since opening.
Party Time
What’s a grand opening without a party!? Well, because of the coronavirus pandemic, we’re going to have to do things a little differently. The plans are in the works now, but we’re looking to combine our grand opening party with a 6th-anniversary celebration sometime in April. Why April? Because we want to have a socially-distanced event outdoors in our huge parking lot! The weather should be nice and warm...not too hot or rainy, hopefully. I’m in the process of researching and planning some really fun things though! Hint: food trucks, music, drinks, and entertainment can be expected!
